The Concept

The Marlin Hotel has built a one-of-a-kind audiophile experience that is much-lauded and awarded---and rightfully so. There is no other hotel in South Beach that boasts a recording studio utilized by the likes of Aerosmith, Coldplay, and Sheryl Crow, not to mention no other hotel boasts full post-production capability in every guest room. Discerning recording artists can rent space in one of two studios on the premises at a negotiable rate and rent additional equipment.

The Look

Though it may not have decorated its 15 ample-sized rooms in a flashy manner, its understated décor enhances other features like LED mood lighting, Tannoy Surround system and Subwoofer, a 60 inch LED, 10 MBPS wireless Internet, and a docking station for your personal devices. The Marlin also provides an iPad with every room that controls temperature, audio, lights, drapes, movies, music, AppleTV, and more. Luxury details are certainly not overlooked either--expect custom Frette bathrobes, a king bed and a queen day bed sofa in each room, Egyptian cotton linen, Bigelow bath products, maid service twice per day, an overstocked mini bar and more.
