The Scene

Soho Beach House's oceanfront location in more laid-back Mid-Beach provides guests easy access to fine dining and local attractions. For those interested in Miami's former eras, several historic landmarks are within walking distance, but if you're in the mood for shopping you might be better off hailing a cab and taking a quick ride down to South Beach. Soho also features Cecconi's, a classic Italian eatery with origins in Venice and outposts in West Hollywood and London.

The Concept

Originating in London as a private club for elite members of entertainment and creative industries, the brand now includes locations throughout Europe and North America. Injecting some bohemian spirit into the Miami Beach scene, the Soho has become a go-to spot for A-listers, sophisticated locals and cultured tourists who want to enjoy a cool factor that can be difficult to find in the hubbub further south. The Soho Beach House creates its unique atmosphere by paying homage to bygone eras with avant-garde mint-condition decor from the thirties, forties and fifties handpicked by London designer, Martin Brudnizki.

The Look

Faded color palettes amongst a myriad of vintage relics mixed with accent colors and textures, the Soho breathes cool in every aspect. From the Art Deco lobby to the 1940s Cuban-inspired Club Bar to the hotel rooms with standalone showers, geometric tiled floors, wood accents and vintage décor, the mix of old and cool triumphs. There are two pools, indoor and outdoor dining (at Cecconi's and Ocho, a Mexican-style taqueria located on the eight floor) and guest lounges such as the Drawing Room, an Art Deco space housing some of the hotel's art collection as well as a collection of rare cigars and a grand piano.
